GetTabStop method

Available for all Control objects except Static, Group, Image, ToolBar, StatusBar and ProgressBar.

Prototype

GetTabStop Proto hWnd:HWND

Syntax

Invoke GetTabStop, hWnd

Function

Gets the TabStop property for an object.

Parameters

hWnd

Handle to the object.

Return value

Eax/Rax returns the current tab stop for the object.

Possible returned values are:

TRUE    Object can get the focus with the <Tab> key.
FALSE  Object cannot get the focus with the <Tab> key.

REMARKS: Static, Group, Image, ToolBar, StatusBar and ProgressBar objects never get the focus, while all other objects can only get it if its TabStop property is set to TRUE.
